A product of dedication and the deeply rooted Pennsylvania wrestling culture, Luke Pletcher has been forging his athletic identity for most of his life. As a true freshman, Pletcher immediately took up a starting spot in the Buckeye Wrestling roster and never looked back, amassing 108 career wins in his four years at Ohio State. As a senior, he served as a team captain and earned his first Big Ten title en route to securing the top seed for the 2020 NCAA Wrestling Championships.

With his eyes now set on the 2021 Games, Pletcher will train just an hour west of his hometown of Latrobe at the Pittsburgh Wrestling Club RTC while also serving as the Volunteer Assistant Wrestling Coach at the University of Pittsburgh.
